Hey! Going to start a thread for this and push myself to get it finished for a portfolio piece
Currently have the high poly complete as far as i want it except for some bolts and screws. Now on to the low poly textured version..
I'm not actually sure what kind of tri count i should be aiming to get to for this, being such a large vehicle and all.
Any crits so far would be lovely and i'll get cracking on this low poly :thumbup:

@Alec, i think they probably are. It's always been an issue for me getting a decent model to bake from. Any particular areas for close ups?
I'd actually be pretty interested in seeing the high poly mesh pre smooth, it'd be grand if you could post it
40k tris. Few left to cut down but i think it will stay around the same number as i have a few bits of geo to add to match the high poly. Don't even know where to begin unwrapping the thing!
Been playing around with alpha mapping for chains;
Also going back and fixing a ton of edges on the high poly so it will bake correctly.
