Camera Issues

I'm having some issues making cinematic cameras. It seems that I can set up a camera to animate just the way I want to, and as soon as I close the matinee window, and open it back up, it's completely screwed over my camera track. I didn't think there was a matinee save button, but I'm obviously missing something here. Any help?
