Was wondering if anyone has created a fairly simple and easy breakdown of the best ways to texture for certain materials. ie, for material A your diffuse would be a patterned texture, spec would be white, cosine would be black and your normal would be the surface material?
Just thought it might be interesting to have a resource that offers a quick painless reference tool for creating materials of all sorts.

When you learn to observe, you can pick apart things and figure out how they work with no problems...
