The man who did it should also be stabbed to death.
I hope the kids and family is doing well, this is awful, awful news.
He was a good guy - I can totally see him intervening to help someone in need. It's awful that this happened.
Rest in peace, Don.
Unfortunately I didn't know Don. But I did know the guy who did the stabbing.
Stabbed to death because he wanted to help, stabbed by a noncontributing fucking dreg, a cyst on society, a vile fucking parasite and another collection of very unflattering descriptions of what is clearly a mistake of nature.
My condolences to the family, he was a hero for trying to intervene and make things right, and he paid the ultimate price for it, may he rest in peace.
I hope the murderer gets his.

Get's my gears grinding when I hear about shit like this, killed for trying to help.. just.. nothing can be more wrong.
Thoughts going out to his family, and I pray that justice comes to the murderer.
so wrong
it really sucks to hear stories where people are trying to do the right thing and this ends up happening. God bless Don for trying to help out but it really makes me sad that it had to end this way.
This is not just tragic, it's disgustingly ludicrous..
I just hope that this doesn't turn off people from helping others even more. We can't live in fear of helping/interacting with others else life isn't worth living.
Whatever she does with her life from here on out I hope its worthy of the sacrifice that he laid down, if she hasn't been living that way before, she sure as hell better start now.
My thoughts go out to his family.
