Emotional Robots is seeking two creative, talented, driven individuals who understand the importance of milestones and what it means to get the job done.
Over three years in the making; Warm Gun is a multiplayer FPS being developed for PC, iPad, iPhone and iTouch devices and might soon expand to consoles and an even larger mobile market. Emotional Robots is comprised of industry professionals and hardcore enthusiasts that work together after hours. If you'd like the chance at getting real credits on an actual shipped title then you shouldn't hesitate to apply!
We are looking for a gameplay programmer who has proven experience (show examples!) of Unreal Script. C++ knowledge is a plus-plus. Possible tasks involve a wide range of different things from mobile interface programming to persistent database hookups to weapon/character/game/AI programming.
We are also looking for a particle FX artist that can make his or her own high-quality sprite textures and animate them in Unreal Cascade. This applies to both environment and weapon particles. We need bigger explosions, people!
We are a remote-based development team that offers royalties and credits as compensation. We offer other benefits as well, such as pizza days and internal competitions for gift cards to ThinkGeek (or other places). Quite a few of us are going to GDC as a company as well. We, as a company, are a very tight-knit group - while we require a minimum of 15 hours per week, most of our staff work every free hour they have because they love our atmosphere and our game.
