Booby Trap AKA: Sidescroller Character for Unity Game

ITS A TRAP, there are no boobs, but since you are here.

My friend and I are working on this sidescrolling platformer side project, and this is the character thus far. We are doing our levels similar to super metroid style gameplay and each area will have a distinct color to it so I'm having a little difficulty finding the right color for our character. So I thought I would ask you your opnions. Thanks duuuudes

Goddammit, Fink.

This is looking awesome so far, I'm loving the assplate. My only critique I would have to offer would be to make the zipper seams bigger, they're a little hard to see at this size, and I would guess for a sidescroller that you're not going to be viewing the character this big. They're cool details, so I'd love to see them bigger. The color scheme looks good too, I might suggest experimenting with spec colors to get some different color effects, just to see what it would look like.

thanks man, yeah i have a liiiiitle spec color, but it's subtle. I'm gonna try cranking it up to the next LEVEL! thanks for the tip bromosexual.

Just kidding 3000 triangles for that character? I think we need to see wire frames and if its easy for you, you could try a variety of colors and post that up and have people judge which looks best, would be a little bit of fun & more helpful.

sloppy but u get the idea add numbers to each for easier selection/mentioning.

I love it, I think you should give the guy more of a belly, liek a beer belly kinda. His stomach is too flat. IMO.

I can throw down some wires later tonight, i have class all day. I realize 3000 tris may be a little heavy considering how big he will be on screen, I just havent gone back and touched the low after i built and baked on the normals.
