Oh yeah, totally different haha, but I've found myself wanting to spend a great deal more time in photoshop and a lot less time in Maya since I've started texturing more, etc.
So I started with some material studioes, and figured why not practice with some slightly larger than normal thumbnails.
Of course, since I'm a color whore, I figured I might as well do them in color :P
Here's the quickie from before bed and the short material studies I did.
Got a break in freelance, so I decided to start learning zBrush (more in depth) and realized I really suck at a number of materials.
So I decided to go back to the basics and paint! I'll be updating this img with the collection (on top of dropping individual updates in the thread or elsewhere).
I went with cube, because I find it more appealing than a sphere + simpler planes of lighting, etc.
