Yeah, thats written in javascript i believe.

Performance doesn't seem very good, as with all of the more advanced html5 examples i've seen.

I noticed this too, i was pretty much just suprised/excited that it worked decently well.

HTML5 should be pretty neat well as soon as its in full flow. Especially with CSS3
