I don't know maybe someone can help me. I've been search for this for a long time. Is there anyway to get the Zbrush Flatten to work simliar to the mudbox version?

I would trade all the planar cut tools for that one flatten brush...

Heh I was actually using Mud today thinking the exact opposite of what you just asked!

Isn't it very similar already? Possibly a bit harsher than the MudBox one by default, but you can tone it down with the intensity.

Also, it's been a while since I used ZBrush but isn't the Polish brush kinda similar too?

hehNo it works differently, something having to do with the normals. I've never liked the Zbrush Flatten, I don't use it, its like using a watered down clay brush. Polish works better but its still not the same thing, its more for hard surfaces.

Right now I'm messing with the clay polish brush which is nice, you need to softly smooth it afterward though.

How does the mudbox version behave?

If I could explain it properly I could build it. :)

It like melts the mesh, but hardens it. That why I asked for help... It just feels differently and I can't pin point why.

Yeah I can never get that flatten feeling in Zbrush either, it just feels out of control. I think (if I remember correctly) the TrimDynamic might get you closer. Still not a regular flatten tho, thats for sure.
