does such a script exist for max? I could n't find anything on script spot, but might have missed it. so yeah I want all the internal edges on a mesh to face the same direction(this improves the look of smoothing of certain types of meshes)
Ah right, can't you just use the "Turn" and "Retriangulate" buttons for Editable Poly, that switches the triangulation. Or are you looking for something that would automatically triangulate a whole mesh so that it creates proper poly strips?
yeah want to do it all at once, takes forever to do it manually. Its basically for straps/belts or similar objects. i can use 'loft' whic does what i want, but its not as intuitive as poly modelling
