hey polypeople, i am retop'n a character and wanted to save my work as i dont have long blocks to work in and am unable to do it all in one shot currently.
my question is simple, how can i save a partial retop?
my process is, load mesh, hit make pm3d, re-select orig mesh, append zsphere, select mesh, edit topo on, start drawing them quads.
i got about 1/4 done and had to shut down lappy and relocate, so all my work was lost or gets turned into adaptive skin, but thats useless i think since its not finished and i cant seem to make it back into a topo zsphere again to work on.
please halp! thanks in advance.

Also. If you have a mesh that has been made into an adaptive skin you can edit the topology of the mesh to continue. Heres a vid

You sure preview isn't selected in the adaptive skin?
