doing a gui console from a Paul Richards concept for game asset and development. tri limit is 2000, currently at 722.
im not sure if i should use the 2000 tris to my advantage for smoothness, or make a high poly and use the normal map.

As for the mesh, the pics are so small, and are dark grey on black (ugh) that I can't even tell what anything is. Closeups, more wire/angle shots etc with a better lighting/colour setup are needed.
Then theres the polycount... 2,000? Really? It doesn't look anymore than 500 at best, and most if not all of that detail could be done with a decent normal map.
