I couldn't get past the first two minutes... Sheez, what a load of crap.
One would think that the need to eat instigated the first farmlands...
I've been really into home brewing and the general history of beer for a while now and there's a debate weather beer or bread are responsible for humans settling down and farming. This documentary says they found evidence of beer brewing 3,000 years before bread. Maybe early humans just planted all that barley to eat raw but I doubt it.
Wim Hof can regulate his body temperature to withstand frigid temperatures. Elizabeth Salser can see music in color. Esref Armagan, the blind artist. Rüdiger Gamm can calculate large numbers and calendar dates in his head.
Does anyone know of any good history documentaries on medieval times, kings of england, battles? I remember some sort of documentary using the Total War engine, but cant remember what it was...
This movie, like Inside Job, talks about the failed economic policies that are currently in place. Though this movies comes at it from a more historical perspective.

"The Discovery Channel will kick off their Shark Week Aug. 2 when they air Blood in the Water, the true-life story that inspired the movie, Jaws.
It was loosely based on the 1916 shark attacks that occurred along the Jersey shore when five people were attacked in 12 days."
