the atmosphere is great - the biggest thing that really stands out to me is the harsh transition between water and land. The water isn't opaque enough either - you could probably solve this by throwing a light-blue heightfog actor underneath it, and placing some grass/vegetation around the shore.
duxun: hard question and harder answer, some assets where made years ago, remaped, another are new, i started work on this map 2 months ago and worked through time when my children sleep ;]
Razgriz: u got the point, are u reading my mind? ;]
dude this is as close to perfect as you can get. I think its sweet. just the last jpeg reveals the brightness of the foreground hiding the true subject of the screen shot. But yeah I AM a novice UDK guy but you should raise the refraction level on the water and add traces of foam and bubble.but yeah that third screenshot down is awesome
It feels a bit chaotic imo. The usual mistake that I seem to notice in natural enviros is the logic of assets' placement. I would place grass/shrubs around stones and trees first of all; smaller stones around bigger ones etc. Same goes for vegetations looking better if places more along those cliffs that u have.
Go from big to small. As if assets had small "families" grouped toghether.
U partially have it like that, but not very balanced yet i think. There r still some vegetation "islands" in a middle of empty ground whle a rock nearby has no vegetation at its base.
Here is some examples fro Allods Online enviro making off:
Exactly what Matro said. A lot of your foliage, rocks and trees are sporadically placed. Instead, group them together and place them logically. You should be looking for a sense of balance and take into account composition from your main shots, that way no matter where you move, the scene looks good.
guys i have to say u all are totaly right, this scene is not finished but WIP, this scene is only assets presentation and main idea to the final scene
i like comments like this, very usefull and necessary and can throw me making better scenes, thx to all and thx for those pictures, totaly great and should be in every preparation of nature project

this looks like a good start. I like the variation colors. Do you have a focal point?
how long did it took you to create all these assets in the scene?
jackalope: no i dont have FP
