Hey, nice! This totally makes me think of RPM Racing for SNES, which I loved. The car design itself seems pretty cool, but it's a bit hard to make out because your lighting is pretty ambient and flat, and the car is black. Keeping the car black is fine but you'll want to push your lighting to have more directionality and contrast so that the surfaces (and surrounding environment) are easier to read.
Looking nice, I do agree though that the lighting now is too ambient.
Try to not make it mid-day while still casting light and shadows to make it more dynamic.
You could try throwing it into the cry engine and trying out different times of day there to get an idea what you want to achieve and then recreating that in MR.
Also, if you post up wires, UV tiles and textures you can get a lot of direction.
Too shiny. Less reflection would probably be more realistic. (See the pic below.) The model looks nice though! Tires look flat, maybe sit them on top of the sand more.
+1 for less reflection. Also, I wouldn't expect to see such a beastly off road vehicle be shiny like that...well except for the lifted pimped out grocery getter heavy duty trucks I see all too often haha.

Keep at it!
Cheers!
I think its looking better
let me know what you think thanks.
Seriously though...some mud and dirt would help.
"superstition moutains in the background?"- you lost me I'm sorry.
