Hey everyone, still trying to finish a head.. soooo f-ing depressing... but not at all my fault, unless you count the fact that I thought mudbox would be intuitive and practical.
I'm trying to prevent textures seams by texturing the side of the head with a stencil, however, problem (I've lost count) has arisen and now the stencil rotates only on rare occasions, and when it does, the projection brush sometimes refuses to acknowledge that it is rotated.
The s + (mouse button click) keys to rearrange the stencil refuse to work. they worked for a little while then stopped in mid rotation and then refused to work. One of the times I decided to test the s + middle mouse button to see if it was just the rotation brush and the program gave me a kick in the nuts by freezing so I had lost my work since the last save.
I can't really progress until I solve this problem (as the depression and frustration generated by this program is mind-blowing, causing lethargy)
Your help would be most welcome.. and hopefully, ultimately, therapeutic.
EDIT: problem solved, I needed to hide then un-hide the stencil.. should have known aye :poly118:
Apologies for the post, unless someone else can benefit from this.
But seriously, hiding then un-hiding the brush is a pain, and the quick keys still don't work.
Can't wait to finish this so I can't turn my back on this program.
