Bit confusing with the Lady demon thingy (Can you post one with just one model with all of the objects?) But from what I can see its very top heavy. Bring the shoulders down abit, and from anantomy wise, put some more muscles around the waist. Even if you are going for a slimmer wasp thorax-like waist, it's so skinny it might break in half.
resurrecting my sb, lots have changed since I last posted something. Now at the University of Washington for an art degree: drawing and painting, being the most significant. Gonna try to submit something errryday.
Nice start man.. For your gestures I suggest figuring out a way to nail the proportions in the first 30 seconds. It's tough but so important.. Like instead of going head>torso>boobies>legs just get the gesture line down and then define where the head and the end of the feet will be and continue to divide it down from there.
Don't know if you're following along with any books as well but on top of the gestures I suggest these bad boys:
Andrew loomis figure drawing
Figure drawing design and invention
bridgemans guide to drawing from life
Thanks for the suggestions, I do need to work on that first 30 seconds, will try to do a whole page of them soon. And I've been looking at Loomis a good amount, great link for his stuff: http://alexhays.com/loomis/
Achillesian, nice! Keep at it, dude. Use bigggeerrrr brushes and try and think about the economy of your brush strokes a lot more. Everything you paint has a fuzzy, overdeveloped look. Be bold! You could go over this last portrait with larger, flow jitter only brush and make something very powerful and slick.
cool portrait especially, you are doing good! keep on going!
steady practice is key and you are doing it, so props for that,
On a crit note when you are doing those daily things, try to have one thing you focus on. For example, one day you can go for dynamic poses, another day think about lighting, colours. etc..
that might help you assimilate or improve upon one aspect of art at a time. cheers
thats cool man, by working even just a little every day, you learn to sit down and getting shit done, which will be very valuable later on when you are freelancing or at work push out constant quality : )

edit: next sketch sheet will be numbered for easier critiques
Sketch after study:
pretty happy with this, no tracing or color picking, did half a sheet of 1 min gestures first, seems to help me warm up
Keep it up!
I just looked at every page and I can clearly see a good improvement

I'll try and take that to heart. I'd also like to start doing more 3d every day too.
keep it up!
