I did n't really get much this year, being old and what have you, but treated myself to a scale model of the titanic. Have to glue and assemble it. Should keep me busy till next year:)

Most of the presents were for the baby. she has gone to sleep thank god:)
So I'm sitting here in my small room with no lights, no central heating (except for a small electric heater) and no hot water. I bought myself Super Meat Boy on Steam, thinking that I got the deal of my life and hoping that a cute retro game would let me relax and forget about all that crazy shit.

Otherwise, I think I got a Kindle 3.. We'll see what Santa brought in the morning.

- Clay and tools, so I can give real life sculpting a go.
- Books: The Canterbury Tales, in English, and a 1000 page book on art history. Plus, my brother and I bought the entire oeuvre of Shakespeare for us as a family.
- Music: An introduction to Bach CD, and Handel's Judas Maccabaeus.
- Games: Dawn of War II, Far Cry 2 and Assassin's Creed. They were a 3-for-€10 pack, so I couldn't resist asking for them
Oh and the SPARK steampainting art book, Neal Stevenson's Baroque Cycle books, some DMZ Comics, and a book on the sculptor Moore.
Lotsa post christmas reading to do!

Dr Who fan mag brought over from the UK by relatives, includes a small "build your own Dalek" toy
The Doctor Who stuff was the best of the bunch.
