Hey Dudes,
Started blocking in a new sculpture for Kingdom Death!!
Shes the Boss of the White Speakers (the first chick I sculpted for Kingdom Death)
I'll try keep a record of all the steps etc here, hopefully they might be useful for someone else.
The goal for this one is to have a full size model for my desktop, probably around 9 inches! And will be sharpening up, fattening up or loosing all together many of the small details for the final tabletop version.
The concepts and sketches by the legendary Lokman Lam.
Basic block in shapes:
Alot still to block in, but getting the main things blocked out first. I'll most likely be sculpting the head seperate and plugging that in later. everything else will be sculpted posed. Also will be moving her staff around the back, impaled in the skull, so she will be leaning against it.
Onwards!!

Hboybowen: THe hair is pretty dirty upclose, its about 4 - 5 different strands of polys duplicated and smooshed about in zbrush. I use the technique alot just to get the idea across. Its going to need to be replaced with a airtight mesh when i get to sculpting it proper . Yup thats kingdom death
duncan: Thanks man!
LRoy: Thanks man! Answer just above
other than that... well, you know it's good work, you know i love your stuff. so show me the moneyshot bro.
I'll be following this one, keep it up!
The head/rock she's sitting on looks a little more squished/wide in the concept to me. I think adjusting that in your model to create a slightly more triangular composition would help stabilize things.
Very cool though. Those things are like Kodamas gone bad.
