[FONT=&quot]Hey guys,

TL;DR/Summing up: Medieval mode expanded. Looking for artist/modelling assistance to create weapons for Valve. Please submit your own ideas if you don’t like mine, it’s just the concept I want looked at.

I'm just looking for support on an idea I've got of making Medieval mode a bit more inclusive. Unfortunately I'm a horrid artist and only a beginner modeller but I'd like to think I've got some decent design ideas that people can get behind.

I can and will pay people for this (which makes me unsure I'm posting in the right place but the others didn’t seem much since I’m not a company) not sure how much but definitely not 'for nothing'. I'm just looking for people to have some faith in this.

Anyway, this idea is based off Medieval mode that was introduced in the recent update but expanding it giving a lot of new weaponry to the various classes that could be used in and out of the mode. The idea is to make all the classes equally viable or at the very least giving them a few more things to work with.

I've got a quick design document but it’s fairly lengthy but to sum up here are the ideas that myself and Veerdin Wraith (Feltorn on the steam forums) came up with but I certainly wouldn't mind hearing some new ideas. He also came up with the links. He’s always been the better visual guy between us and unlike me is very capable of art :D.

Scout
Concept: Lightly armoured Javelin thrower
Weapons
Primary: Javelin
Secondary: Light leather armour
Melee: Cavalry sword
Hat: Something like this, made far less armoured to more to fit the scout. It’s the feather I like the most and want Scout to have a long jiggleboned feathery hat. Bit after the period but w/e, wouldn’t be the first time TF2 broke that rule.

Soldier
Concept: Heroic American (cough English cough) Foot Soldier
Weapons
Secondary: Armour
Melee: Longsword
Hat: Traditional Knights style Helmet.

Pyro
Concept: Still burning things
Weapons
Primary: Cheirosiphōn (Hand Syphon/Early flamethrower)
Secondary: Burning Oil (thrown like Jarate)
Hat: Jesters hat

Demoman: Nothing new. Open to ideas

Heavy
Concept: Big Halberdier man
Weapons
Secondary: Fire resistant armour
Melee: Giant Halberd.
Hat: Halberd’s headguard. Something like this.

Engineer
Concept: Still building things
Weapons
Primary: Arquebusier (early gunpowder weapon)
Secondary: More late medieval style skin for Wrangler
Sentry gun replacement: Cannon
Dispenser replacement: Wall


Medic
Concept: Heretical Medic. I sense Medics ancestors were Pagan as well as Teutonic, quite a dilemma :P.

Medigun replacement: Heretic’s staff

Sniper
Concept: Nothing much new but...

Secondary: Quiver
Melee: Sheila short sword

Spy
Concept: Still stabbing and sabotaging
Primary: Throwing knives
Sapper replacement: Saboteurs bombs
