ok i just chose to not base my low poly sofa (400 poly) textures entirely on the movie sets
because the movie version just looks like new that theyve just turn up
whereas my version hopefully resembles something thats been worn
btw im going to finish and start importing the rest of the meshes in udk
i had a question about outdoor lighting seeing the wonderful imagerys from elliots, davids's western scene and the other wonderful children of men scene
how do u light an outdoor lightin in udk
i know to enable light mass and select the environment colour to the sky with a dominant directional light
of course like any piece I wishy I did more but that's the path of learning
but this scene has been gone long enough and with not being able to get a job its not been a good time but atleast its done
looking over this i think it looks unfinished like theres no street for the buildings to rest then again the scene itself has no street for it for the buildings to rest on so i need to add a path and i think need more rubble
anyone else have any suggestions to improve or should i start a new scene?

rather than a basic ground after the critiques
thats the base done (for the meanwhile)
gotta populate the scene with props and rubble
ill probably need to add some wooden beams on the destroyed buildings and that should call it done
so that i can start finishing off uv mapping and texturing props and place everything in udk
