Surprised this hasn't been posted yet. It's a really simple thing that can help many people during this holiday season. I've already gotten 10 tabs.

In short, each milestone (# of tabs) you reach, the Chrome community will do something charitable (10 tabs is 1 tree planted, and it goes up to 200 tabs providing 1 person clean water for a year).

There's nothing forcing them to do this obviously, but a) good faith b) if users are already using chrome and have multiple tabs open, why not put them towards something?

I bet someone will make a script so it will open and close the tabs behind, haha.

^ noticed there's a 250 tabs/day cap to prevent that.
