What i like alot is how you have these tutorials and the higher priced ones, alot of people especially students are in a position where they might not be able to justify spending 50-60+ dollars on a video tutorial, but are able to buy these awesome 15 dollar ones!

I have to say starting with the photo ref first is a great idea, I normally model the other way around and have to search for textures afterwards. Nice tutorial guys thanks

Loved the sale, picked up the UDK terrain vid, Vertex Blending one and this modular building one.

Just watched the modular building vid and man I wish I had this vid when I was trying to learn to do modular stuff in school. Would have made things so much simpler.

The video was great, covered the material extremely well and always great to be able to mess around with source files. I figured I probably wouldn't get much out of the vid since it was aimed at beginner to intermediate level but the quick way you swap pieces in UDK made this purchases completely worth it. Never could figure out how to quickly do that in UDK and so glad I got the video. Its these little hidden gems and different work flows that make even the none super advanced videos so great.


One crit I would give the video is when going over the creation of windows, I thought you did that all well and good but I think it would have been good to cover the windows you created where you cut out individual window panes and swapped the glass around to break things up to get more variation out of the 2 windowed textures you had. For a beginner video I was surprised something like this wasn't covered.

Anyway, great video overall. Loving the Vertex Blending video so far and cant wait to see what other video you guys will be coming out with next!
