Photoshop + Painters Wheel help

I love the Painters Wheel addon (check it out if you haven't yet), but I just can't get it working on this one specific machine. It works on other identical machines here, but not this one.

What happens is that when I open its panel, there's some massive lag happening all throughout photoshop, until it finally crashes a few mintues later. This also happens with the built-in Kuler addon, so I think it has something to do with SWF Panels.

Basically when I drag the color around, it's about 4-5 seconds refresh rate until it finally crashes.

Anyone ever have this happen in the past?

Works here for me, CS5 in Win7 64bit. A little bit laggy, but only like a 1/2 sec delay when dragging the sampler icons around inside it.

Yeah, it works fine for me on my home computer. As well as on other identical machines here. It's just this specific one (the one I'm using of course) that doesn't work...

It uses a SWF panel, which I believe was added to Photoshop in CS4. And is also what I believe the problem is with mine, all the SWF panels (like Kuler) work incredibly slow and eventually crash Photoshop altogether. Must be something wrong with my Photoshop/Shockwave interaction, but I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Is OpenGL or whatever it's called on Windows turned on in the 3D settings in the preferences? I thought I had to click that on in OsX to get it working.
