Above link is only for people running Win7/Vista 64bit. If you need support for a different OS version just start from the original driver page.

And here's the page from november 23rd:

That's sort of weird... why would this be removed? (optimistically): Perhaps it was moved to some other place at the wiki. I'll email the wiki and see what they say.
I use Blender so I can't offer any feedback for your problem, other than older drivers seem like the best solution.
EDIT: from wiki discussion about the OpenGL Problems section http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:GeForce_400_Series#OpenGL_Problems_section
Back dated and everything is fine and dandy once again
My card is a GT 480.
I even installed the HUGE 2011 Service pack 1 and it didn't do squat. Looks like i'll have to get the older driver.
*Edit
My setup is GT 480 - Win 7 x64
The Service pack 1 includes 1,2 and 3 hotfixes. So in my case, hotfix 3 didn't fix the problem.
I'm definitely going to check this out, I am on '11, thanks.
This issue has been confirmed across multiple generations of Nvidia cards, and it's only the the latest driver release. Previous to the 260 drivers I've never heard of the specific problem I wrote about presently.
I didn't see anything in the hotfix pdf that sugggested it will fix the problem but I'm trying to find a workaround for a friend who just got a GTS 450 and is basically screwed if we can't find a workaround. (Only the 260 drivers are offically supported by her GPU. Might end up seeing if we can get hacked quadro drivers to work...)
I'm actually on a Quadro 880m (notebook) and having the same issues...
This isn't a historical first for Nvidia either, they did have other drivers that broke the "High Quality" function.
Would appreciate a confirmation on whether VP 2.0 is working for other people with this new beta driver.
Latest driver release offers full Maya support!
Nice to see Nvidia corrected for the bugs. HQR & VP2.0 are now working as advertised.
