Maya Help Search is slow

The Maya(2010,2011) Search Tab always needs a couple of seconds to show up. Seems like flash is doing something, like building an index or something). Anybody has a trick to speed this up?

I don't know bro, I only can say that this happened to me also in every computer i tried from about the 2008 version of maya and above... I just search from the online help wich is perfectly identical

link the online help in the maya prefs? this produces the same result. or do you mean goggle?

Same here. I just came to accept it.

Would be lovely if this could be improved.

mmh. actually i expected this.
does anybody at autodesk actually use their own tools? it's hard to believe that essential things get into a release, which are a waste of time for the user and nobody from the devs has the same problem. and we are not talking about crazy physics or hair simulation.

uhm.. I think it can be a browser problem... I usually use Chrome but it doesn't work with maya help. Using IE I don't have any problem with it.
