Hey guys!
Here at Vicarious Visions we made a video for Obama's '
Change the Equation' contest.
Their description is: "The goal of the competition is to impress upon students (and their parents and teachers) that focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math can create a wide array of career opportunities, some of which may not be expected. The videos submitted highlight employees of Change The Equation member companies and the cool things they are doing with their STEM skills."
WHAT WOULD BE AWESOME OF YOU is to check out (and thumb's up) our youtube video here:

And "Like" us on facebook here:

It only takes a second, and the winner is based on the amount of views and 'likes' an entry gets.
We are also the only game industry entry, so your vote will help promote the entire game industry and get us some positive news for once.
Thanks again guys, we really appreciate any support you can give. It only takes a second!

Hopefully it can help change how people think about video games.
I "liked" it on Youtube, sorry I have no Facebook account...
any more support is definitely appreciated.
thanks again!
Contest ends this Sunday and we can use any support we can get from those of you who haven't "liked" it or viewed the video yet. We're close to winning!
Thanks guys!
Couldn't find a "like" button on the page you gave though, but found it on the main page instead and then clicked on the "vote for favourite" image
- couldn't help but wince a bit when the one kid said he wanted to be a tester. Brave soul that one is. :P
I agree with commador, this shows a side of the industry that isn't well known to the public at large. I think the industry in general tends to do a pretty poor job of showing what it takes to be a developer and what day to day life is like on the inside. I mean come on when the face of the industry is the VGA's and news stories about the evils of the video age! Its no wonder we've gotten a bad rap, its not like we do much to counteract that, we just kind of stare in disbelief, shrug and go back to work.
Hopefully stuff like this will get some of the pitch fork wielding asshats to calm the F down and stop going after the industry every chance they get. I know... dream on.
No they're not, SAS is Put this on Kotaku then the numbers may drastically change
someone did, hopefully this give's us a nice boost
thanks again guys, really appreciate the support! tomorrow is the last day!
