I've only found one side view of this guy, and I'm having trouble relocating the image on google search. Side views of this fighter sure are rare indeed.
Fantastic start. You've gotten his eyes really good so far, and that's the first thing I thought would be "off" or need work when I saw this thread. Bravo. Bravo.
The only crit I could suggest would be adding some slight rounding to his jaw between the chin and the mandible joint.
While his jaw is squared from the front, his jaw and neck muscles are giving him a slight bulge seen from those angles. But even that is a small detail at this stage.
Please keep working on this and posting progress. The world needs more Aldoraptor.
Hello pangarang. I think it's a good start. Although there are some pointers I have for you:
- I think you should rotate the arms down a bit for the sake of the muscles. It's the angle he will most likely have during animation so I think that's what you should have as default.
- Have the pose look more natural. Do you think Jose Aldo would actually stand like that?
- I think it's too early for you to getting into muscle details and textures. Try to get the silhouette right first, it has higher priority.
@sltrOlsson - I didn't bother with the manly bits as he'll be wearing shorts.
@Goraaz - For the silhouette are there any areas that stand out to you as being particularly wrong? Or is it that generally speaking there needs to be more definition?
your getting his likeness down pretty well, only thing is watch the pinching on the side of the lips, also the brow line looks more defined in your ref image...nice job on the texture so far, keep em coming!
