1st head sculpt WIP

Hey, this is my first post on Polycount and i would like to show you my first attempt at sculpting a head. This is a WIP so many more updates to come.

Constructive criticism is very welcome as i would like to hear peoples opinions and hopefully become a better artist.

The character i am working on will be an 'Old West Gunslinger' with a scar through his left eye/cheek.

pretty good. Did you start out w/ a base mesh? if you didnt, extra points.

Hey guys, here is a little update. Added a hat just to get a feel for how it will look. Still loads to do though

yep extra point,it's a good start! but before start up on Zbrush, I suggest you to study some topology mesh,( I mean basic shape, and the art of make volume with not much vertex ) you will save time with a better topo, and it should be more fun & easy to work on ... keep it Up !!!

I did actually create a head in Maya 2010. Here is my topology from which i started with before exporting it into ZBrush.
