We currently have an AAA unannounced title in development (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) and are looking for an Environmental Concept Artist to join our unique and talented team in Lyon, France, for a minimum of 6 months working in our offices, alongside the team.
Answering to the Art Director, you will participate in the creation of game assets. Your primary goal is to help design game environments (corridors, rooms, building architecture....) as well as the main objects.
Your work will be directly used by Level Architects, Environment Artists and outsourcing teams in charge of modeling and texturing the assets.
Profile:
- Good observation skills, technically minded and strong graphical culture (photography, cinema and painting).
- Strong knowledge of traditional drawing and experience with a graphical tablet (sketch and colour) you are fast and proactive.
- You're passionate about video games and have an excellent understanding of spacial constraints for a game balanced between gameplay, estheticts and performence.
- Relevant experience in the game industry is preferred, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Photoshop.
- Good English communication skills (verbal and written).
