I have an emissive map on this lamp. The entire yellow part is supposed to glow, but most of it is dark like it's not lit at all. I also baked a lightmap out through Unity 3, and I'm wondering if that has a part to play in this not working right.
The image shows my shader settings, it's just a diffuse and emissive map. It's just not glowing??
Appreciate any insight on this!

Pretty sure that only works on the pro version.
You might be able to fake bloom with a halo.
Here are some of the other things you can't do with the free version of Unity
Alright thanks, you helped me get on the right track, at least hopefully it'll be self lit, if nothing else.
Yeah that wasn't something that was immediately apparent to me. However it's still not lit on it's own. I'm wondering if the Unity lightmap is overriding it some how? I understand that it's glow won't be calculated into the light map bake in the free edition, but right now it still looks like it's mostly in shadow even with the alpha channel inplace.
