Hello,everyone.
I had opened a maya example scene file which called sunsetleavefall.ma. It is in the ndynamics->nmesh->get ncloth example. Then I found that I can not select the nurbs sphere which was used for the sky in the scene .I can only select it in the outliner. And the portion of the sphere that facing the camera is disapeared. When I rotate, the portion of the sphere facing camera always disappear. I think this is a good way to be used for the sky. Who can tell me how to do this? To make the sphere hide the half that facing the camera.
Thank you very much!!
And I had snaped a picture

The way to get a nurbs sphere to look that way I believe is to just reverse the surface direction of the sphere and turn of the Double Sided checkbox. As to your problem with selecting I don't have a real clue. Other than maybe an error or the layer that the Nurbs sphere is in being locked I'm not too sure.

The option to reverse normals is in the Surface Mode in Edit NURBS->Reverse Surface Direction. Then the Double Sided checkbox is in the expanded Attribute Editor of the NurbsSphereShape
