xnormal issue

So I created a simple cube in maya with default uvs, then duplicated it and beveled the crap out of it. ive then averaged the normals on both meshes and exported them as objs (also tried with that sMB format).

Now if i use maya transfer maps, i get a perfect normal map, works great.
But if i use xnormal i get 2 seam lines on 2 of the bottom edges ( SEE THIS PIC )

The map on the left was made using maya transfer maps, the right was made with xnormal. My problem is those lines that show up which ive indicated with the red arrows.

I don't get it, it's the exact same meshes as I used in Maya, ive tried exporting with and without smooth grps, and ive tried using the use average normals function in xnormals. I dont get it....It's just those damn 2 lines...

Let me know if u can work this one out haha.
