Heres my newest refined basemesh, works pretty well but I think im having trouble sculpting muscles, not so much the form. Individually sculpting and defining muscles is difficult for me, once it looks good in front view I turn it to the side and find out the pectorals will come out very very far. Im not sure if my matcap is hiding detail from me or anything.
Stance doesnt look that bad actually, looks a lot like selwy's, i would probably raise the arms a bit to sculpt the armpits n stuff. You should have no problem making adjustements as you sculpt and fix the gesture.
Also, check the proportions of the feet, they look kinda short in lentgh compared to the hands. Just to give you an idea, the length of the foot is the same as the forearm .
You have the chest out, shoulders back and somewhat shrugged. It's a somewhat active pose. Its a superhero neutral rather than a relaxed neutral. Also you have a lot of detail in the face already.
Looks like one of my old basemeshes.. which have really not done so well for sculpting. I've found that sometimes, less is more. Just worked a sculpt from Arshlevon's baseman and its been really successful.
I found it very refreshing to take a break for most of the day, and then come back to it. It was much easier to correct mistakes and it was MUCH easier to visualize how it SHOULD look. Its like having a base-base mesh haha.

I just can't get over how tense the shoulders look

Thanks RobG for keeping useful stuff archived.
