Hi to all, this is my first work published in this section.
Is a P38 that i have modeled for a F3 mod, and is my second work on weapons (the first is the AK47, Racer445 tutorial).
I want to know various opinion for the model/texture, i know the last is far from good.

Very nice model, just work a little on the diffuse and the spec a bit and you'll be good:)
You need to define the material a bit more and set some highlights here and there because it looks abit boring at the moment.

i would check the proportions of it. looks like the handle is a little wide.




also notice the lettering is stamped in, your seems to come out

and the handle should be more rounded on the front.

its looking pretty good though. just need to tweek a few things

@ ToxiQ: Yeah, almost looks like a lambert. make some specular to make that boy pop!(like the photo)

I agree with ToxiQ, the model is looking good but your renders need some love. Lights, specular and better defined materials.
Also don't put a black background, it kills the silhouette :poly122:
