Egyptian Boss

Hey guys have been working on this guy for a while now, he is rigged and posed. but i don't like him that much and i think its due to my texture skills for the metal... tell me what you think.

    or is this a finished model ?

    your shield looks real nice...but on the other side its very...flat?

    some of the muscles dont make sense, espicially the one on his back to the overall shape your going for..

    feel like he needs to be a ltitle bit more relaxed considering he has a big belly :O

    What are the spots on the back?

    Hey, The spots on his back are sun spots.

    My major problem is i have visible seams in my normal maps and im not to sure how to get rid of them any suggestions?

    Hrmm I'm prty sure theres a thread about this topic, Not sure myself

    but in your sculpt your sculpted a weirdly shaped back, if you have time it wouldnt hurt if you fixed it cause its sticking out :)

    Let me try and find this thread to help out with your problem ^_^

    I'm an Egyptian , and yep This guy looks egyptian , except for the eyes ... Most egyptian have black or brown eyes , there are some who have greenish eyes .. But i've never seen greyish :P

    and i agree with he others , the back is wierd.

    hmm, the face puts me off.

    Doesnt look like someone who can hold up in a fight, looks more like a fat old drunk who happened to have found some fancy pharao items and put them on.
    In other words, he looks old an weak.

    The back issues have been mentioned by others, so I wont comment on that further.
    The shield looks nice, altrough a bit flat, and I dont understand the flower pattern on the sword. doesnt look very egyptian.

    You need to spend more time on the high rez model.
    If you would have posted wips we could have helped you out sooner, before you spent all that work rigging, unwrapping and texturing

    sorry if its a bit harsh but I thought I could better help you by pointing out the flaws then by beating around the bush, hinting at what might have been wrong.

    keep it up, I would like it if you deside to redo the character at some point.
