Not sure, but I don't think Silo is required for the competition.

* The techniques featured can also be applied to other 3D applications, making the skills you will learn easily transferable.
Well, I guess anthony choose the wrong company, afterall there was plenty of ALIVE software to make a book off, not resting on the sales of a book to squeeze a few more licenses off their abandoned and handicaped child...
I'm just stating what many once enthusiasts users think, no personal feeling to Anthony.
Btw Bisenberger, I don't understand why you advertise this contest while you still have problems LOADING the SAMPLE files of that book in the current "Release Candidate"...
BeatKitano, why the negative vibe man? go take a walk and relax, I am not a silo user, and maybe not interested in the book personally (although it might be great!) you dont like the software? well dont post thats it. You say there is problems loading sample files? send him a pm or an email to ask and thats it.

Well, I don't know, I kinda left their board after being temp banned for expressing my unsatisfaction (does this word exist ?) on an unrelated forum
, so I guess, I can say it on polycount which is neutral ground, right ?
I'm worried now that this is no longer the case ?? I thought I was entitled to my opinion.
As for the files, well like i said, I'm using voidworld now, at least users are heard by the dev. That part was directed to bisenberger, and that's a real question, not to be mean...

Hi BeatKitano,
The book looks really good, and the techniques can be applied to other apps. Although I have Silo, I'm planning on using the lessons with modo.
