Despite the fact that I have the Tron Legacy trailer running on a constant loop these days I decided to go for Sark from the original movie.



just need to shave off 124 polygons then tweak the proportions around before I think the mesh is done.

-edit- Is it just me or is dropbox acting screwy? I've noticed that images aren't showing in other people WIP threads, I just assumed that it was due to my shitty work internet connection.

DropBox is definitely acting weird today. I'm glad it isn't just my stuff that's affected...

Blocking in the major tech / glowy bits on the texture before I get stuck into the proper painting.

Cool. I like the fact that you have gone for one of the guys from the original movie, Not too many of those floating about. I am looking forward to some more texture work.

Duncan. Everyone else was making stuff for the new Tron, so I felt the need to represent the retro version.

No texturing updates. I was having a hard time with it. Old school, straight diffuse style texturing was never my strong point. But its starting to not look like complete crap so I'm hoping it will all come together.

But to make up for all that I started work on my scene.



For anyone not completely familiar with the movie, this is near the end where Tron and Sark have a final battle before the end boss.
It's all vertex lit at the moment, so its horribly over budget.

The face looks great.
I would just add some more occlusion and dark part here and there. Maybe delete some small red lines too, some areas seams overloaded.
