Problem: Cloned wireframe hates me!

Hey!
Since I'm new to this forum and this is my first thread, treat me gently!

I'm having this problem in Maya where a "cloned" wireframe of my model has appeared and I have no idea what it does or how to get rid of it.

When I move the mesh with joints the wireframe just stays in the center of the scene. I can't move the wireframe at all and when I select it, my model and joints gets selected too..

Here's a picture of my problem ( feel free to ask more questions regarding my problem )

Check outliner and find the wireframed mesh it in there, when selected in outliner it will also highlight in viewport, if you want it gone just delete it, or you can try deleting history on your mesh.

I've selected the wireframe mesh in the outliner but it seems to be connected with my character mesh. <_<
I tried to delete the mesh history but it didn't do anything..

Or try selecting the offending mesh, and bring up Hypergraph w/ Heirarchy. There may be two Shape connections to the same mesh, and the bad one should be deleted.

Yeah uhm.. that didn't work either :S
They're both the same unit "Group 2". I've gone in the Heiarchy and looked through every object, it's the only one getting selected :S
