I have a female charcater that can waer a hooded cloak.I will be using biped for her but wanted to get some help/advice on the best way to rig the cloak bearing in mind that i want to be able to add/remove it for various renders.
How do you plan to take it off, will you see her disrobe or will it just not be visible in some renders while visible in others? Toggling on and off the visibility track would work. You can find the parameter in "Right Click > Object Properties > Visibility", Or in the curve editor "Tracks > Visibility > Add". Since you can key and animate this property it can always be on the character but just invisible at times.

The cloak will just not be visible in some renders.
It's the rigging side of things i want to get some clarity on,not sure as to how to approach it.If i weight it to parts of the biped it could look odd,someone at work mentioned weighhting with a couple of bones but the didnt offer much more advice than that.
