I've poked around on CreativeCash and Freelancer, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for here.
I'll continuing using the googles, meanwhile, I figured I'd see if any of you animators out there can recommend some decent character rig sites. I would prefer Max, but Maya will do just fine.
Specifically monster/creature rigs that actually look decent. Thanks!

Looks like someone even put the main character into Maya:

Seems there are a number of free rigs on that site for Max, too. Wonder if they're any good!

Man, I'm trying to remember this one "walkthrough" type thread one of the moderators (I think) at GA did. It was this sort of squid-faced quadruped, and I remember them releasing the final model+texures for some reason, but don't remember if it was ever rigged or not. If it was, that'd be cool.
The one they give to students of the animation mentor program is absolutely ridiculous.

Bishop is if you want to do insanely detailed facial animation and have them do crazy Dhalsim stuff.
On the topic of free rigs, can't you use some of the already rigged stuff from games, exported to max/maya? There's no shortage of monsters in games, and the rigs will be production tested.
I had not seen animationbuffet before, veerrryy cool, kudos!

Nice to see dreamworks maturing and moving away from animal flicks, although Kungfu Panda was awesome.
