I'm glad that it seems like the old Late Night show more than trying to appeal to the masses. Conan was at his best when nobody was watching and thus he was able to get away with things that are weird and edgy.

has anyone stayed around for George Lopez's show? I watched a few minutes of his monologue, that was painful... is he intentionally doing a bad Rodney Dangerfield impersonation?

I can't stand George Lopez. After his jokes he always does this "Am I right? Am I right? was that funny?" stare at the camera for a few seconds...creeps me out.
