Mental Ray dumping UVs

Ok, I've been fighitng this problem for a long time now and I've searched high and low for an answer. Maybe someone here can help.

For some reason that is beyond me, Mental Ray apparently discards my UVs. Everything looks fine in the viewport and when I used scanline. But when I use Mental Ray, alot of my UVs get completely jacked.

Not every object in the scene is affected, only a few. Most notably the roads and sidewalks you see here.
