Helpful hint, posting with silly colors isnt cool or stylish, it just makes it harder to read generally when there are large blocks of text. Sure it can grab attention but I know a lot of people myself included just skim over colored posts as they are more annoying to read.
THis typically happens when you copy paste text, the formatting carries over. To remove the formatting you highlight your text and click the crossed out AA in the upper left corner.

Though this is just my opinion after all

Part of the Business studies are, listen to the words not the person's personality, his wear, style, etc. I think I can get a related message across for "professional" forums or to those who are trying to be "professional" on the internet.
umm, read the message and not colors? Besides he was really really extremely straight forward in asking his question so I cant see or find it hard to direct him to the right direction, regardless of his colorful OP.
EDIT: Ya I do know that there are many professional nit pickers here and I agree with their prospective in such cases but seriously, easing up and enjoying will do you real good here.. On the internet.

First off I'm not color blind. Dont get where you got that from. I personally didnt think about colored blind people when I made that post (maybe because there not even really people? lol I kid I kid)
Second I did read his question, and the response that Emil gave that adequately provided him with the answer he needed. I saw no further point in say "yeah go to the Technical Talk thread" Instead since I noticed his post count was at 1 and I could tell he was new and thought I would offer up an helpful hint to him that I clearly stated was only an opinion.
I wasn't like "OMG ANOTHER FUCKING COLORED POST!?!!? RAAAAGGGE!!" ha. I just thought it would be helpful. Because lets face it. Reading all this shit in black is kinda annoying. Again just opinion.

Oh...I thought it gives them serious headache when they read something in color.
And no I wasnt talking about Forum rage against someone who posted in color. I was addressing to the Professional Dicktation of the ethics of using the internet or forum ethics. Unless it is a website for game studios' internal use (AKA Intranet of Game Studio). You are way off while you tell someone that writing in color annoys people because it annoyed you alone, no offense. It was however good thing to point out to a new comer. I'd give you a credit for that.
Not making a habit of slapping someone's hand for his/her mistakes would do good in a long run, especially someone who is new to you. Just a thought. Also if there is anything that annoys you or someone about someone else, a PM to that someone else should be in order.
Well idk if it dose or dosnt give color blind people headaches, I always thought it just made those colors grey or something like that.
Also I would never state that something annoyed a group of people when it only bugged me just to try and sell my point. Polycount is quite a popular site among artists and a lot of people read these forums every day. I know this because at the studio I currently work for and worked for previously worked for talks about things only Polycount came up multiple times. Just because people dont actively post here dosnt mean they dont actively read and talk about it at work because they most certainly do.
So I wasnt trying to sell my point off by just saying many people feel that way without have actually known that to be true.
Speaking as a colourblind person... I remain headache free :P.
The white text just contrasts on the dark background better than black does (since that would be dark on dark). Though there is still enough contrast for black to be readable against the background.
Most of us colourblind weirdos merely can't perceive a select few colours. I, for example, could not tell you what the difference between a weird blue and purple is. Dark reds might seem like browns and the way I see green (#00FF00 green) is almost... yellow.
The term "colourblind" is sort of misleading for the majority. Since only the truly bad-ass severe colourblind folk actually see in greyscale.
The rest of us are more... able to see all the colours... we just can't correctly tag certain ones.
