The blind Vampire

ssup all,

This is not exactly (yet) a game model, but I want to share.
I've started this model as a doodle, then decided to finish it to use as portfolio worth piece.

The character is inspired by nosferatu vampires in Vampire: The Masquerade rpg.

I've used 3dsmax, Zbrush and Photoshop.
The difuse texture map was all polypainted in different layers and composed in photoshop. Like one layer for veins, one layer for freckles etc...

Ill keep this head and continue to develop the full character soon as I have more time avaliable...

Hey - nice stuff. Especially the eyes actually. I like how your arent going overboard with this.

The bottom picture would benefit from just a HINT of purple in the shadow. Its looking pretty gray right now. But keep it up when you have time. Would love to see him in full figure.

Really loving the beauty shot man! I was wondering if a little tiny bit of gaus. blur on the background would make him pop off the page a little, like a faked depth of field perhaps. Love it though!

Very nice. My only suggestion would be that you might want to give him a bit more expression. I think it would punch it up a bit if he was squinting more, or frowning a little bit more, but that's really nitpicking at very solid work.
