Evening chaps!
I've been registered here for a while and was totally blown away by the quality of the textures you people make. So! over the last few months I've been self-learning how to create textures in Photoshop and figured it was about time I posted something
I've recently got into Starcraft 2 modding and decided I'd make some medieval-style textures as SC2 lacks non-futuristic resources. I've been editing the Zealot skin and this is the result:
In-game shot:
Now, I'm by no means a professional at texturing as I've only ever textured for warcraft 3 models (which are extremely low poly) and I'd love to get some feedback from the community on my attempt at a higher-resolution texture.
Any areas you think need improving? Or perhaps any ideas on features to add? I'd love to hear them
Thanks!

I really like the whole idea of changing the age/style of the zealot. Sounds like alot of fun.
I think you did a good job here but my main concern is that it seems very photo-heavy which doesnt fit the rest of the game's style. As in, it looks like its alot of photo reference pulled into photoshop.
It might not even be that you do that, if not, I'd say that you are going abit overboard with filters/overlays as the whole thing read really busy(and I'd imagine it looks even more busy at the normal sc2 distance and with 15 of these on screen)
But again, I think its a nice job and your UV's are also nice
If you feel like it you can post your model here as well with the files:

You might get your work in some mods

as the sc2 engine supports spec maps you do not need to paint the highlights into your diffuse. i would recommend to add a custom spec map, as right now the different materials read as one.
also when reducing the noise you should maybe think about where the waer and tear would be. it looks too random for me...
why does it look as if his stomach is glowing?
I have to second that question, if so they wasted alot of UV space and that's certainly not typical for Blizzard.

The new texture gives me some great Assasin's Creed wibes and I realy love that.
Keep 'em coming!
(if i'm not 100% mistaken, that is, why should he reunwrap the model?^^)
