I have this site, split it up into 6 uv map tiles, and brought it into mudbox, painted a couple of things and want to bring this back to max. How do one do that and can max do this. If anyone can point me in the right direction i would be really happy.

i am actually building a mountain for with an village in it..
but had some heavy uphill on that, since in new to that program and so on.

One guy told me about multiple uv mapping and i really liked that. its a pity i modelled the thing, because i might had another approach on unwrapping this. Maybe have the walkways as seperate uv maps, since the most detail will be seen in there.
the attached file is just a test in the very early stages.
Just wondered, do anyone know where i can find a bunch of midevil caracters, i dont want to go and model 20 or so. Its for my midevil town kinda like assasins creed , oblivion and fable, anyone know where one can get models like that, or is it best just to bite it down and start modelling you caracters.
