Normal Map Severe Seam Issues

Hi guys, I'm afraid that I'm in dire need of your help...
I'm having some issues with the normal mapping of this rock.

I've sculpted a high res model in Mudbox2011 and did a normal bake there, as you can see I have very visible seams. The Seam resides where my UVW seam is. Now it doesn't matter if I bake them using Max, Mudbox or even XNormal, the normal seam remains. I've even tried an inline connect so that the UVW seam resides on a flat face. I've also changed and isolated smoothing groups without any results.

Any thoughts and and if you know what's wrong could you explain to me what is causing this issue ? I would very much like to understand and never have this problem again. Thanks.

After having the issues with more models I've switched back to MAX2010, which has resolved my issues.
