Hello so im making this model
and basically the idea is to have this as a base and have the uvs for this on a tilable texture and use geometry and decals and vertex painting etc to dress it up.
My question is, the buidling also has a high poly and i am wondering how to have uvs set up for the tilable texture AND the normals? My thinking at the momemnt is you need to set up a 2nd uv set for the normals? I have no idea how to do this though? I can create an empty set in maya but dont know how to bake the normals onto that set, and tbh i dont even know if this is the right way to go about it!
This will go into UDK and i know that you can have another uv set for decals so yeah any help to aid my confusion would be awesome
