thanks, guys! As for the trees, I struggled a lot with trying to keep them stylized. As I painted more detail they started looking more realistic, which is not what I wanted.
Anyway, This looks pretty cool man. But for presentation purposes, you should either set up a closer shot to demonstrate the composition in terms of contrast OR enhance your lighting.
I think it would work from a closer angle, but in the diorama view, the lighting is overtly subtle on the surrounding elements.
The way the light is being diffused (or *not* being diffused?) across the water is reading pretty flat.
If that's a part of the stylization, I'd say you should push your stylization farther.
I might also suggest flaring geo elements a bit more. You might not even have to change the actual models much, but the posts on the dock for example, you could place them closer together at ground level so that they flare outwards at the dock level.

What about more detail on the trees?
Now, build a globe around it (like a snow globe) and put it into Fallout 3 New Vegas :P
Maybe a bit more detail on the tree trunks aswell would be nice.
For the hut roof, I could have perhaps simplified the mesh since its stylized. This is my first stylized work, so still cutting my teeth.

Overall, its going in a good direction.
